Anindita Chakraborty

Anindita Chakraborty's art practice is a constant investigation of the self, introspection, and questioning identity. Her work is autobiographical, encompassing self-portraiture that reflects the complexities of identity politics. She believes the self doesn't have an autonomous existence, as it is often overshadowed by the other, and understanding the self can be a projection of our psyche. Through her art, Anindita explores the ways in which we construct our individual identities.
